A native speaker of Slovene and Italian, in 16 years of professional experience I have translated over 6 million words, carried out about 4,500 assignments of various nature and size, and acted as interpreter at over 750 events.

After graduating in Conference Interpreting and Translation at the prestigious Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators of the University of Trieste (SSLMIT), I obtained a Master’s Degree in Management and Project Management. My education was further enriched by attending numerous courses and workshops organised by the University of Trieste (Italy), the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Slovenian Public Book Fund and the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy.

I believe in the strength of professional associations, and I have therefore become a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), the Italian Association for Interpreters and Translators (AITI) and the Association of Scientific and Technical Translators of Slovenia (DZTPS). Moreover, I am a Certified PRO Member of the world’s largest web-site for translators and interpreters (PROZ).

In 2010 I was appointed Interpreting Services Provider for the Secretariat-General of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and for the Executive Secretariat of the Central European Initiative - CEI.
